Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) was established under the Tanzania Revenue Authority Act No.11 0f 1995.The Authority is a semi-autonomous agency of the Government responsible for the administration of the Central Government taxes as well as several non-tax revenues. SENIOR ESTATE OFFICER
Purpose of the Job
To assist in implementation of Estate activities as per plans.
Major Activities of the Job
i. Assist in the management and implementation of procurement plans for works.
ii. Prepare draft budget for Estates section.
iii. Prepare tender documents and requests for quotations in accordance with approved procurement plans for works.
iv. Evaluate tender for works and lease.

Minimum Job Requirements
Qualification

ii. Registered with relevant professional Board as a professional in a field of study.
iii. Post graduate Diploma or Masters Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Real Estate Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution/ University will be added advantage.

SENIOR PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER
Purpose of the Job
To create a good image of TRA in the eyes of the public.
Major Activities of the Job
ii) Transmit tax education programs through the radio.
iii) Provide advice on the day-to-day media related issues.
iiii) Provide public relations and protocol functions for the creation of a good image
iiv) Develop the annual TRA key messages.
iv) Provide logistic and administrative support for all TRA meetings with the public and stakeholders forum.

He/She will play a pivotal role in assuring adherence to financial policies, project policies and procedures, regulations, controls, and reporting systems.
